How are our plastic abrasives made?

The manufacturing process is similar to that of ceramic abrasives.
In fact, they are created by mixing an abrasive filler with a polyester- or synthetic-resin-based fluid, to which we add a catalyst to harden the mixture.
They have effective abrasive power, adapted to the various applications required.

Thanks to their light weight and bonding agents, plastic abrasives are highly effective. In fact, they irrevocably remove all burrs from parts, giving them a matte and glossy finish.
